Tuner(DE3) was a LacYZ mutant strain BL21(DE3). Tuner(DE3) strains can accurately control the expression of recombinant protein by the addition of IPTG. When combined with pET series carriers, the protein expression can be effectively regulated from low expression level to high expression level (when low concentration IPTG is used to induce low expression of recombinant protein, The target protein may have better solubility and biological activity). This strain contains the DE3 region of λ phage, which can express T7 RNA polymerase. Tuner(DE3) strains belong to B strains, lon and ompT protease deficient types. Tuner(DE3) receptive cells were prepared by a special process, and the conversion efficiency of pUC19 plasmid was 107cfu/μg DNA.
