Principle:
Peptone can provide nitrogen source and growth factors; Maltose is a fermentable sugar that can provide a carbon source; dextrin is an intermediate product in the process of macromolecular sugar decomposition，which can be used as a thickener and stabilizer; Glycerol is a protective agent and can provide a partial carbon source.
Usage:
weigh 16.28g of this product，take 2.35g of glycerol，heat and dissolve in 1000ml of distilled water，divide into test tubes，10ml per tube，autoclave at 121 °C for 15 minutes，and set aside.
