The pH of Human serum albumin (HSA) is 6.4-7.4 and Endotoxin ＜0.01EU/mg, which is the most abundant protein in human plasma, with non-glycosylation and high stability. Natural human serum albumin is extracted by low-temperature ethanol method (Cohn) and column chromatography, and the raw materials are dispersed, the supply is tight, and it is easy to be contaminated by certain pathogens, such as hepatitis virus and HIV. Solarbio's HSA is a recombinant human serum albumin derived from rice endosperm cells, which does not contain animal-derived components and does not pose any risk of blood-borne viral infection. Plant-derived recombinant human serum albumin has higher purity and better batch stability than fetal bovine serum (FBS), bovine serum albumin (BSA), and plasma-derived albumin (pHSA).
