Background：
Induces cartilage and bone formation. Also acts in mesoderm induction， tooth development， limb formation and fracture repair. Acts in concert with PTHLH/PTHRP to stimulate ductal outgrowth during embryonic mammary development and to inhibit hair follicle induction.
